Amelia London was born from a simple truth: the fashion industry had forgotten about you. After turning 55, our founder Margaret couldn't find a single piece that felt like her — elegant, comfortable, made with care. Everything was either shapeless or designed for someone thirty years younger.
So she made her own. From a small studio in Notting Hill, she began crafting pieces for women who had actually lived — who had raised families, built careers, loved deeply, and still had so much ahead of them.

Yes — entirely. Every cut, every seam, every length was made with women over 55 in mind. Not a sample size. Not a young body. A real woman who wants to feel elegant, comfortable, and completely herself. That was Margaret's starting point in 2018, and it never changed.
Absolutely. Our pieces are cut with generous room through the hips, waist and bust — no pulling, no clinging. We believe clothes should move with you, not against you. We size from UK 6 to UK 22 across most of our range.
Most of our dresses and coats are midi or maxi length, designed to sit beautifully at every height. Exact measurements are listed on each product page. If you have a specific concern about length, contact us and we will help you choose.

We dispatch all orders from our London warehouse within 1-3 working days. Standard UK delivery then takes 2-4 working days. You will receive a tracking email as soon as your parcel ships, so you know exactly when to expect it.

Every Amelia London order is packed by hand in our signature tissue paper with a handwritten care card. This is our final season — and every parcel we send will be packed with the same love as our very first, six years ago.
